Bitter Chocolate

Have you ever bought chocolate, hoping that the moment you devour it, it would taste as sweet as heaven but it ended up to be as bitter as hell.

And the next time you come across the chocolate again, with its ever-so-tempting wrapping, you have the same urge to sink your teeth in it once again, even when you know that the chocolate is as bitter as hell, you’re just willing to take the risk, hoping, just hoping that maybe the taste has changed in time, but to your disappointment the choc is still bitter, more bitter than it use to be.

And a couple of months flies by, and once again, the chocolate changed its wardrobe and is now wearing the most attractive wrapping you’ve ever came across your entire life, and not willing to fight your pulsing impulse, you grab the same chocolate again, ignoring the alarming voices in your head, and stuff the whole lot in your mouth. This time, the bitterness was so unbearable that you just give up, give up on the chocolate, for now.

And you just hope, with every inch of your heart that you don’t have the driving desire to gulp down any part of that chocolate again, ever again.
