you belong to me

the song that you hear in the background was requested to be published in my blog by a very dear friend (he is the one singing it by the way...). he also dedicated this song to another friend of ours. i don't know wats happening, but the dejavu of zura's wedding has not ended yet. 'musim mengawan' is still on. everybody seems to be pairing up and settling down. i am happy for everybody, but the thing tat displeases me is when i get the lame old questions like, "so whens ur turn?", or sarcastic remarks like "ure missing on a lot, and before u know it, ure gunna be too old and nobody will want u anymore". i mean, even when everybody around me is opening a new chapter in their lives, it doesnt mean that i have to follow in their footsteps right? dont get me wrong, i dont reject the whole idea of settling down, i mean, it is unavoidable since its highly encouraged in islam, but when the time comes, i'll follow your footsteps. my time is not up yet. so, move along, dont ask me questions that i myself dont have the answer to it, let alone care about answering it. i still have time. for godsakes, i'm only 24 (25 in 5 months time)...

p/s: i'm currently reading a new book, falsafah pendidikan menurut Al-Quran. it's quite interesting. but the most interesting thing is that i'm amazed by my sudden passion for buku-buku ilmiah & islamiah. hehehe..well, changes are necessary in life. i cant go on living my life with utter stupidity & complete stubbornness forever now, can't i?
