(Monday 27th Feb)
Received the first message from Hendra, officemate - “Harga minyak naik 30sen”
I wasn’t actually alerted by that message, coz rumors travel fast.
Then, I got 10 more messages stating the same thing afterwards. I need to take action!
I sent a message to my mum;
“Ma, I’m seriously considering buying a motor coz the harga minyak naik and traffic very teruk and all.
My mum’s reply;
“We’ll talk about it on Wed. Meet us at Pan Pac”
(Wednesday 1st March)
Ma : “Pagi tadi, Ma baca in one of the local newspaper, that somebody was mentioning about using natural gas on their vehicles. It’s quite interesting actually. Memang mahal at first but 6 months down the road, you’ll get your money back instead of spending it on fuelling up your tank every day. Bla bla bla…..bla bla bla some more…and nerver –ending bla bla bla”
Me : So what you’re trying to say for the last 2++ hours is that, I can’t get myself a motor lah?
Ma : Yup. Exactly. I’ve always said that you’re a clever daughter.
Ladies and gentleman, that’s my mother.
Me (being me as usual, never taking no as an answer) : But Ma, susah lah. Nowadays, the traffic is so unbelievably horrible tau ma..and then with harga minyak nie naik lagi mad, I’m gunna suffer lah Ma. I wont be able to save any money at all (not tat I’m duin a good job at it right now pun, but I didn’t have any other reasons to use).
Ma (being the patient mum she is) : No, your safety comes first kakngah. You’re always working late, macam mana kalau you finish work late, then you balik malam2, then some kereta or lori purposely sondol you from the back? What will you do? It’s very dangerous. Better lose money than lose your life.
Ma : 2, Me:0
(Thursday 2nd March)-Morning before rushing off to work
Me : Ayah, emm…so, what do you think about me getting a motor for myself?
Ayah : Nope. Dangerous.
Me : Please yah…help me on this. Convince Ma lah like I alway do for you yah..
Ayah : (laughing) Ayah pun tak bagi, how do I convince mama?
End of discussion.

I’m going to be spending more on the fuel, and less on myself. Sigh sigh…

meh datang kl, pastue kiter curik jek mana2 motor jap, aku ajar ko naik motor..best woo merempit...leh selit2 celah2 keta...perasaan yg sungguh men'teruja'kan..hehehe...
betullah kata mak ko tue, aku penah nengok org bawak motor terbalik depan aku, siap pusing lagi. Apa kata ko tukar kancil jerk cam aku. Hahahahah. Aku lak gatai nak tukar myvi. Heheheh. Safety first. Takpun ko tolak jerk keta ko tue. Tak yah statrt enjin. Tak yah isi minyak. Hehhehe

am: wah...semua pk -ve tntag motor... tak bley jd ni... bahaya ader di mana2. yg pntg kepekaan pd bahaya itu... tak pe... kete awak dh cukup best pd minda mereka utk awak tu... heee ;-)
